Monkey Pose / hanumanasana stretches your entire lower body, including your thighs, hamstrings and groin.
It also stimulates the abdominal organs and engages your core.

It also stimulates both the #muladhara (root) and #svadhishthana (sacral) #Chakras.
It is an advanced seated #asana & requires lots of flexibility in the hips, hamstrings & quadriceps.

Beyond the asana:

One of the most important lessons of Hanumanasana, is #devotion to #practice and #patience.

Although we now live in the age of instantaneous gratification, our #bodies have not yet evolved quite as much.

#Vinyasa_Yoga is the practice of yoga according to which the aim is to unite and synchronize the breath with the movement.

The #term Vinyasa is derived from the Sanskrit words vi (in a certain way) and nyasa (to place), and cultivates presence and awareness of each position (asana) in the practitioner through breath and continuous movement.. leading to a kind of meditative state &practice.

Vinyasa differs from traditional yoga practices because it is a more #dynamic form of exercise emphasizing both the #breathing_techniques during the execution of various positions (asanas) and the connection of those positions.

It is a #holistic practice as it strengthens the mobility of the body as well as the spirit & mind.

The sequence of positions is intended to form a balanced, strong but also flexible body, enhancing physical endurance.

At the same time it creates a composed, focused and strong mind, able to discipline the self, thoughts and emotions by bringing #awareness back to natural breathing and as a consequence to calmness and relaxation.

Some of the #benefits of Vinyasa are detoxifying the body, improving the cardiorespiratory system and metabolism, reducing stress and increasing self-concentration.
